Meet Cortney Albert, RYT 200 – Our Newest Yoga Instructor!

She first stepped onto the mat in college, drawn to the practice as a way to connect with others in a new place. Yoga’s blend of movement, breath, and mindful challenge naturally complemented her love for hiking. Over the past decade, she has deepened her practice as both a dedicated student and instructor in Central Pennsylvania.

Her classes feature thoughtful yet playful sequences that inspire presence, exploration, and a sense of adventure—both on and off the mat.

Beyond the Studio: When she’s not guiding students in the studio or working at REI, Cortney is out chasing new experiences in the great outdoors. An avid adventurer, she has:

• Summited the highest point in all 50 U.S. states (a feat known as Highpointing!)

• Visited 58 out of 63 U.S. National Parks (just five left to go!)

Cortney discovered One Love Yoga after completing an incredible 2,655-mile trek along the Pacific Crest Trail—a journey that reinforced the power of movement, resilience, and community.

We can’t wait for you to experience her warm, adventurous spirit in class—be sure to say hello and welcome her next time you’re in the studio!
